Franken Food Alert

The US FDA just cleared the way for genetically modified salmon to be created.
These fish will grow at twice the rate of a normal salmon, and as the FDA cited, “we do not believe they will cause significant harm to the environment.”
One does not have to read between the lines too much.
Significant?  What about human harm?
The good thing is, they will be farm raised, so all one has to do is ask, “is the fish wild or farm raised.”
If they say farm raised, or they don’t know – don’t order it, chances are it definitely is farm raised.
We already know that farm raised fish is an unhealthier fish, and they often add dye to the water just to give it a “natural looking color.”
As far as GMO, we have no idea what that can do to our health.  In my humble opinion it is not a thoroughly tested science, by land or by sea.
